Course contents

The course aims to provide the student with the fundamental knowledge related to:

-the clinical interview in the health field: structure, main characteristics, verbal and non-verbal communication;

- direct observation of behaviour during the clinical interview;

- non-verbal communication channels: physical characteristics, artifacts, face and facial mimicry, gestures, movements, posture;

-the facial expressions of emotions;

-interpersonal distance and space placement;

-non-verbal elements of speech;

-transfert and controtransfert;

-the observation of child behavior: attachment theory and Strange Situation.

Teaching methods

The teaching consists of 1 CFU of frontal lessons, corresponding to 12 hours.


Assessment methods

The learning test takes place through a final exam, which ascertains the acquisition of the expected knowledge and skills through the conduct of a written test lasting about 30 minutes. The written test consists of 16 questions of which 15 multiple choice (each answer correct allows to get 2 points) and 1 with dichotomic response (true-false; value 1 point) on the parts of the program that will be treated and indicated to students during the Lessons.
