30803 - Professional Skills Laboratory: Pedagogy II (G.G)

Learning outcomes

At the end of the workshop the student: - is able to move independently in applying specific techniques learned independently or within designs organized by the institutions; - Knows how to deal with others on how to use and documentation of the techniques learned. - Knows how to place the specific knowledge learned in different types of service; - Be able to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of instrumentation techniques learned; - Will be able to transfer the technologies learned in different contexts while making amendments and additions personal.

Course contents

Laboratory title: "Exploring communication and group work through experiential paths"

Communication skills and the ability to interact adequately in group contexts are the basis of the professional preparation of those who work in the educational field.

In order to improve one's communicative effectiveness, to acquire and / or perfect the skills that allow to properly manage group work situations, it is useful to have opportunities to experiment and activate reflexive paths.

The laboratory, through practical activities and theoretical reflections (which will take place if possible even outside the classroom), proposes to:

- stimulate the acquisition of a greater awareness of their communicative methods, verbal and non;

- explore group situations to understand their constituent elements and dynamics through direct experience, also in terms of experiential training;

- find solutions to problematic situations on the relational communication level;

- analyze conflicts and experiment with non-violent management and mediation possibilities.

Readings/Bibliography

During the workshop the teacher will agree with the students the study and study activities on the topics covered

Teaching methods

The laboratory includes practical exercises, case analysis, group work involving the active participation of students, to which will also be combined some theoretical lessons

Assessment methods

The learning will be verified through the active participation of the students in the laboratory activities (simulations, case analysis, etc.) and / or through the proposed experiential learning methodologies. Therefore, it is essential to the knowledge of Italian language by foreign students.
