The student possesses the knowledge of basic mammography with MDC and dentistry.
Course contents
geometrical parameters plans. position and projection
fisical parameters: energy, kv,mas,time. Using these parameters in oral and skeletal Radiology. Detection systems from analog to digital.
X-ray dental apparatus: intraoral and extraoral technique , Anatomy, projections and criteria of correctness.
study of temporo mandibular joint.
Mammography:
standard projections, criteria of correctness, accurate description of a screening program. Description of a Breast Unit. The importance of communication;
Bone densitometry;
Radiological Study of the chest: describe standard protocols and additional screenings.
Radiological study of the skull: describe standard protocols and additional screenings in cooperative and in trauma patient.
