Learning outcomes
Students learn the principles of research methodology in the field of nursing , nursing theory and methodology and organization of the nursing profession
Course contents
- Evidence-Based Practice : principles and methodologists.
- The different types of study : experimental , observational and descriptive . - The measures of association and statistical significance .
- Introduction to the methodology of scientific research : the paradigms of research , stages of research , from the question / hypothesis to research design , conduct and conclusion of the research.

Assessment methods
The verification shall be oral or written and is determined with the students in the middle of nature trail.
In any case it is based on questions, open short-answer
or closed questions with multiple choice answers for 4, relating to the themes of the course: 1) aspects of EBP and measures of association; 2) the research methodology; 3) principles nursing organization.
