Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student should have acquired the essential knowledge to diagnose the principal surgical disease. The student should also be able to understand the principles for a correct reatment of the surgical pathology and also to understand the possible complications of the disease and of every single surgical approach.

Course contents

Surgical approach to the stomach and esophageal diseases.

Surgical approach to the disease of the liver, biliry tract and pancreas.

Diagnosis and treatment of the surgical diseases of the gastro-enteric tract.

Surgical approach to the disease of the endocrine system and adrenal glands.

Clinical approach to the lesions of the breasts.
