Learning outcomes

After completing the course the student knows the principles of ergonomics and safety according to the current legislative framework, and has the ability to assist the person during the transfers and the posture changes.

Course contents

Theoretical principles.

Fundamental postures and gestures.

The bed activities (Rolling, translation, straightening, lowering, etc.).

Transfers.

Practical demonstration of some tasks.

Practical exercises in simulation and with roles alternation (patient / operator):

PC, projector, lectures slides supplied by the teacher Hospital beds or tables, possibly adjustable in height, with sheets, pillows, sleepers as needed, wheelchairs or chairs.
