Learning outcomes

After completing this module the student will achieve a wide range of knowledge in the orthopedic-traumatological field, rheumatology and neurology in different stages of life, which allowed him to develop relevant and independent skills in problem-solving proving the ability to search the opportunity to self-learning.

Course contents

MODULE 1

IDENTIFY THE NEEDS of people, in reference to the physical, psychological and social sphere, amenable to physiotherapic treatment. COLLECT, on appropriate documentation /clinical folder, the PHYSIOLOGICAL AND PATHOLOGICAL anamnesis, RELATED TO: STRUCTURES, FUNCTIONS, ACTIVITIES AND PARTICIPATION.
Carry out THE PHYSICAL EXAMINATION through: observation, palpation, evaluation of mobility and investigation of signs and symptoms of musculo-skeletal, neurological, respiratory, cardio-circulatory and visceral structures. In the execution use validated instruments, if existing.

ANALYZE DATA collected to achieve the objectives and targets, agreed with the person.

Draw up the PHYSIOTHERAPIC DIAGNOSIS, according to the ICF model, and the subsequent prognosis physiotherapic.
Define and plan the intervention of physiotherapy
Follow action.
Verify the achievement of the objectives also ongoing.

MODULE 3

Observation of the healthy baby (0-18 months). Observation and physiotherapic evaluation in children with I.C.P. . The rehabilitation context. The path with botulinum toxin in children with I.C.P. .The route with functional surgery in children with I.C.P.. Role of aids and orthoses in the rehabilitation program in children with ICP (selection and training in the use).

lectures, observation of children and clinical cases, analysis of clinical cases through video connection with the internal circuit to assist in counseling patients with aids.

Check the knowledge, skills and observation of clinical reasoning through oral and written questions based on clinical case. Simulation of therapeutic proposals, interactive workshop.

MODULE 2

Verification of knowledge, the power of observation and clinical reasoning based on clinical cases. Simulation of therapeutic proposals, interactive workshop.

MODULE 3

Compiling of a scorecard of the functional outcome and/or an observation grid after watching videos of activities for children with outcomes of PCI.
