Learning outcomes
The student, having completed the course, it has the understanding of the functions of the human organism in its different and progressively more complex levels of organization (organ, tissue and cell apparatus) and of the ways in which the different functions are integrated and adjusted. Is able to analyze how the living organism obtains and maintains homeostasis of its internal molecular, cellular, and tissue level means, in the context of the surrounding environment and the unity of functional solutions devised by evolution includes the enunciation of general physiological laws, being able to apply them to humans.
Course contents
-Relationship between cells and extracellular environment, resting membrane potential, action potential, synaptic transmission.Homeostasis, homeostatic mechanisms of control
-Function of skeletal muscle, cardiac muscle and smooth muscle function-anatomo-functional.
-Organization of the nervous system, general somatic sensibilities, somatic, autonomic nervous system.
-Pain.
-Mechanical activity of the heart, the heart's electrical activity. ECG. Haemodynamics, blood pressure, peripheral circulation.
-Lymphatic system
-Respiratory mechanics, gas exchange in the lungs, carbon dioxide and oxygen transport in the blood, breath control, respiratory variations in ph
-Mechanisms underlying the formation of urine,glomerular ultrafiltration, concentration and dilution of urine, mechanisms of metabolic changes of ph.

Assessment methods
How achievement checking, direct to ensure adequate preparation of students and the ability to communicate effectively the topics of educational change,with rating expressed in thirtieths. The investigation, always individual, takes place in conditions that ensure the deepening, objectivity and fairness of the assessment in connection with the teaching provided.
