Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student must have the knowledge and skills to create a professional environment that promotes excellence in nursing and midwifery practice, creating an effective communication climate that promotes decision-making, responsibility and autonomy professionals.

Course contents

Nursing management exists Management is a question of specificity or set (link with other teachings). Organizational nursing research concept (link with other lessons). Ask questions in organizational research (link with other teachings). Organizational models Model Definition; difference between model and theory Organizational-based management models Organizational models based on leadership Traditional models and present in reality Critical analysis with the advantages and disadvantages of the most important historical models. Assistance Organizational Models Models of professional practice Support models for pregnant women centered on the obstetrician figure compared to other models. Models in the international context What emerges from the literature / experiences of innovative models in nursing: Acute Care Models Bridge Continuum Models Comprehensive Care Models From model to outcome The transition from the choice of the clinical model to focusing the care tools (centering on the practitioner) to the choice of a clinical-care-oriented practice (patient / user centering).
