Learning outcomes

The student will be able to select the appropriate neurophysiological exam to diagnose and monitor the main central and peripheral nervous system diseases

Course contents

visual, brainstem, somatosensory, motor and laser evoked potentials in multiple sclerosis differential diagnosi and monitoring

Quantitative EEG in the differential diagnosis of the main degenerative dementias: Alzheimer's disease, front-temporal dementia and Lewy body dementia.

peripheral nerve and radicular compression: carpal tunnel syndrome, cervical and limbo-sacral radiculopathy
