Learning outcomes


Course contents

The right use of contrast media natural and artificial in the human body; choose the contrast medium suitable for the bowels to be examined. Know the basic methods as digestive tract contrast single and double contrast with barium contrast. The digestive tract by means of water-soluble contrast in post-surgery patient. Radiographic studies of the esophagus, stomach, first digestive tract, enteroclysis, barium enema, and defecography fistulography. Radiographic techniques for  urinary tract with contrast organ-iodized: descending urography, cystography, retrograde cystourethrography, ascending pyelography. Radiographic techniques for the study of the biliary tract: the intraoperative cholangiography, post-surgery, percutaneous cholangiography, ERCP. Historical notes on Cholecystography for OS, intravenous cholangiography. Radiographic techniques female reproductive tract: the hysterosalpingography. Historical notes on radiographic techniques for the study of the male reproductive tract, salivary glands, and arthrography and fetus radiography. Radiographic technique oh the swallowing. Radiographic technique for direct abdomen. Radiographic technique for Shoulder, Basin, Skull and  Spine
