Learning outcomes
The students will be able to cope with many advanced corporate finance issues, such as the pricing of a contract provision in a M&A transaction, the value of a real option embedded in an investment project, etc.
Course contents
This course provides a comprehensive analysis of selected advanced
corporate finance issues within the context of market constraints
that include risk and regulations. Specifically, the course
involves the following topics:
- Investment projects valuation
- International cost of capital
- Credit scoring models (STATA) and cost of debt
- Firm valuation in M&A transactions
- Pricing real options (throug Montecarlo simulation)
- The value of contract provisions (throug real options)
