Tuition fee waivers for international students Unibo Action 1 - A.Y. 2017/18

The University of Bologna offers tuition fee waivers to deserving international students who wish to register for First Cycle, Second Cycle or Single Cycle Degree Programmes at the University of Bologna for A.Y. 2017/18.

Unibo Action 1 waivers are assigned on the basis of SAT and GRE test scores.

The waivers are valid for one academic year and they cannot be combined with Unibo Action 2 study grants.

Requirements

You can apply for Unibo Action 1 if:

  • you are in possession of (or about to obtain) a valid qualification for access to your chosen degree programme, issued by an Institution outside of the Italian educational system or by an Italian institute established outside Italy;  
  • you will take one of the following tests by the application deadline:
    SAT (if you are interested in registering in a First or Single Cycle Degree Programme)
    GRE (if you are interested in registering in a Second Cycle Degree Programme)
  • you are less than 30 years old.

The SAT and GRE are aptitude and skills assessment tests which can be taken in authorised centres in several countries around the world. The tests are in English. You must register for the tests on the websites of managing institutions.

The codes needed to send test scores to the University of Bologna are: 6993 for the SAT; 7850 for the GRE.

  • Publication of the call for applications: 28 April 2017 
  • Applications deadline: 12 June 2017 at 12.00 pm (CET)
  • Publication of results: July 2017

The application must be submitted exclusively through Studenti Online.

Important: you must take the SAT or GRE test by the application deadline. The only upcoming date to take the SAT outside the U.S.A. is 6 May 2017, with registration deadline on 7 April 2017. 

Renewal of Unibo Action 1 waivers awarded in A.Y. 2016/17

The University of Bologna offers Unibo Action 1 waivers for A.Y. 2017/18 reserved for students who were awarded a Unibo Action 1 waivers for A.Y. 2016/17. 

In order to obtain the renewal you must apply by the deadlines set in the call for applications. Renewals are not awarded automatically.

Requirements

You can apply for the Unibo Action 1 renewal if:

  • You have been awarded a Unibo Action 1 waiver for A.Y. 2016/17;
  • You comply with the requirements for maintaining the waiver set in the Unibo Action 1 call for applications, for A.Y. 2016/17.

The ranking list will be drawn up on the basis of credits accrued by 10 August 2017.

  • Publication of results: September 2017
