How to improve your Italian language

If you are or will be an international exchange or degree seeking student or an international guest of the University of Bologna, you can take advantage of some opportunities to improve your Italian. Choose one or more courses and carry out the specific registration procedures provided for each of them.

Important!
If you are a non-EU student residing abroad and you need to meet the Italian requirement to enrol in a first, single or second cycle degree programme offered in Italian, read the information on the Italian language requirement and effects on admission to degree programmes page.

If you are an international student enrolled in an international degree programme taught in English, and you are required to meet the Italian requirement, read the information on the Italian Language for international students page (in English). The self-study ICoN L2 Italian Course (without a tutor) is not useful for meeting the Italian requirement for international students enrolled in international programmes taught in English (where applicable).
