Scuola Superiore di Studi sulla Città e il Territorio

The Scuola Superiore di Studi sulla Città e il Territorio is a special part of the Bologna University.

It is an international landmark for studies, projects, educational and cultural activities involving the city and the territory, both in their historical development and in their ancient, modern, and contemporary shape. This multidisciplinary School gathers Departments of the Bologna University dealing with the city and the territory. The fields of intervention are archeology, architecture, conservation of cultural heritage, engineering, urban planning, environmental sciences and conservation.

The School manages a wide range of postgraduate activities (courses, meetings and lectures, exhibitions, etc.); it also releases relevant publications and papers.

The School works in partnership with various national and foreign Institutions. School activities are funded by its own proceeds and through the contribution of Fondazione Flaminia.
