Books, magazines, dissertations, multimedia and other materials owned by the Food Science Library

Books and collections

The Food Science Library has a collection of over 3000 books on study and research, relative to the fields that are the subject of the Degree Programmes located in the DISTAL sites in the Cesena campus.
The books are classified according to the Dewey Decimal Classification, and can all be searched for in the University’s OPAC. For information on the regulations about the loan and consultation of these materials, please see the Services page.

Magazines

The printed and online magazines owned by the Food Science Library can all be searched for in the ACNP OPAC (Italian Union Catalogue of Serials) . For information on the regulations regarding the consultation of these items, please see the Services page.

Multimedia materials

You can also find a small section with CDs and DVDs in the Library. The criteria adopted for the classification, loaning and consultation of multimedia materials are the same ones as those applied to books.

Dissertations

The hard copies of some of the dissertations discussed in the three-year first-cycle (Food Technologies, Viticulture and Enology, Food Consumption and Catering Sciences) and second-cycle (Food Sciences and Technologies) degree programmes are deposited in the Library. Soft copies of some dissertations are also available in the AMS Tesi di laurea, the University’s institutional archive.
