Language Certificates

Can I submit my Language certificate after the AMIDILA deadline?

No, AMIDILA does not accept any document, including language certificates after the AMIDILA application deadline. You must upload your language certificates in your official application form.

The Host University can decide, only during the Evaluation phase if:

  • Reject your application because it is missing the required language certificates
  • Admit your application under the condition you submit the required language certificate by a certain deadline that will notify to you only in case of selection for an AMIDILA scholarship.

In the case you find a different agreement with your Host University you must upload an e-mail or letter issued by the Host University providing details about the specific agreement taken.

Host Universities

How many Host Universities can I apply for?

You can select up to 2 Host Universities. These 2 options cannot be used to apply at the same University neither to apply to two different universities of the same country.

Can I apply for the Universidad de Granada as first option and the Universidad de Valladolid as second option?

No, you cannot because they are of the same country. You must always use the second option to apply for a different university from a different country.

Can I apply as first option for the Master programme in International relations of the Università degli Studi di Padova and as second option for the Master programme in Human Rights of the Università degli Studi di Padova?

No, you cannot because they are of the same university. You must always use the second option to apply for a different university from a different country.

Am I obliged to apply for 2 Host Universities?

No, you are not. Nevertheless applying for one University only decrease the chances to be finally selected.

Will I be selected only for my first option?

AMIDILA will try to respect the priority set by the candidates. Nevertheless be aware that the Selection Committee can always assign you to your second option for the benefits of the AMIDILA balances or because your first option did not admit you.

Academic offers

Can I access through AMIDILA to the complete offer of one of the AMIDILA partners?

No, you cannot. You must always refer to the AMIDILA academic offers published in the AMIDILA website. Our partners did open to AMIDILA candidates only part of their complete academic offers. Please refer always to the academic offers tables you can find at Our destinations webpage.

If I apply for a programme, will I be sure this will be offered by the beginning of my AMIDILA mobility?

No, unfortunately it is not sure because the academic offers of the AMIDILA partners for the next academic year 2015/2016 will be officially approved only in February/March 2015. If the programme you applied for will not be available anymore be aware that your AMIDILA scholarship application cannot be accepted. The Host University may consider during the official evaluation process to move your application to a similar programme. This choice is however not automatic and it is up to the Host University.
We therefore strongly suggest you to do not invest your AMIDILA application only in one option but to include always a second option.

How can I receive more details about the details and academic admission requirements of the position I am interested in?

By contacting the relevant contact person specified in the Info Sheet of the position you are interested in or by contacting the relevant AMIDILA contact person at the Host University of your interest. You can find all the contact details at Our destinations webpage.
