Danilo Montesi

Full Professor of Data Management and Analytics at the University of Bologna since 2005, he has worked in the areas of data and knowledge bases, information retrieval, and social network analysis. His current interests include textual and image analysis (for watermarking) and the study of digital footprints for copyright protection, forensics, and cybersecurity. He is also interested in digital health.

He has been involved in several research projects:

• National: OPLON (“National Smart Cities”, D.D. n. 391/Ric, July 5, 2012); IMPACT (“FIRB Research Projects”, D.D. n. 490/Ric, August 3, 2010); DISTORT (PRIN, project id P2022KHTX7, 2024).
