Curriculum Vitae

I was born in Offida (AP) in 1962. I get the Laurea degree cum laude in Physics in Bologna in 1986. I discused an experimental thesis on elementary particle physics. In 1985 I was a Summer Student Fellow at the CERN (supervisor  prof. E. Zavattini). I get the Ph.D. in Physics in 1990, with an experimental thesis about the search for magnetic monopols with the MACRO detector at Gran Sasso. The publications on MACRO Phys. Rev. Lett. limits on the flow of monopolies magnetic [20] and nuclear [13], also contain the results obtained in the PhD thesis.
In 1990 I won a competition for university researcher (Physics) . In 2001 I won a competition for associate professor (FIS/01), and I was called by the Bologna University in 2002.
I'm married with two childrens. I'm a member of the Italian Society of Physics (SIF), of which I won a prize for scientific activity in 1991.
