Marco Castrignanò is Associated Professor (SPS/10 scientific
sector, Sociologia dell'ambiente e delterritorio) at the Faculty of
Political Sciences of Bologna University. He is a member of the
Department of Sociology.
He coordinates the Degree of Social Work .
He is Ph.D. in Sociology and Social Policies
He received a post-doctoral fellowship in at the Department of
Sociology of Bologna University (a.a. 1994/1995 and 1995/1996).
He is a member of the Scientific Committee of Sociologia Urbana
e rurale review.
He is a member of the Scientific Committee of Salute e
Prevenzione review.
He is a member of the Teaching Body of the Ph.D. in Sociology,
at the Department of Sociology of Bologna University.
He is a member of the Scientific Committee and Director of the
2nd level Master in Politiche sociali e Direzione strategica per lo
Sviluppo sostenibile del territorio at Bologna University.
He was director (a.a. 2008/2009) of High education course
"Metodologie per la promozione sociale in territori a differenziate
tecnologie di sviluppo" and he is director of High education
courses (a.a. 2009/2010) “Promozione sociale e pianificazione
partecipata sul territorio” and "Organizzazione e Management dei
Servizi socio-sanitari in contesti differenziati (per Dirigenti di
Paesi Esteri)" at Bologna University.
He was a member of Commissione per l'esame istruttorio di
progetti finalizzati alla prevenzione ed al recupero dalle
tossicodipendenze e dall'alcoldipendenze correlata, of Dipartimento
delle Politiche Sociali e Previdenziali, Direzione generale per la
prevenzione e il recupero dalle tossicodipendenze e alcoldipendenze
(Ministry for Work and Pensions, 2001-2006).
He is a member of Ce.P.Ci.T. (Centro Studi sui Problemi della
Città e del Territorio) of the Department of Sociology of Bologna
University from 1989; he makes research about poverty, juvenile
disease, drug-addiction, social exclusion in urban areas, urban
changes and sociology of tourism.
He is member since 2009 of Urban Orgs network of scholars
independently doing research on formal organizations and inequality
in urban contexts leaded by Prof. Mario Small University of
Chicago.
He is member of “sezione Territorio” of Italian Association of
Sociology.
He teaches the following courses at the Faculty of Political
Sciences, University of Bologna: Methodology and technique of
social research on territory, Seminar on social exclusion and
social intervention (1st level degree in Social Work), Development,
territory and social research, Ethic of Work, Consumption and
Environment (2nd Level Degree of Employment, Markets,
Environment, social policies and social work).
He teaches in International Executive Master on
Strategies, Management and Communication against Drug
Addiction, IULM School of Communication
He teaches, since 2003, Metodi e tecniche della ricerca sociale
ed elementi di demografia applicata in the 2nd level Master on
Politiche sociali e direzione strategica per lo sviluppo
sostenibile del territorio, organised by Cestas (Centro di
Educazione Sanitaria e Tecnologie Appropriate Sanitarie) and by the
Department of Sociology of Bologna University.
